In the business of aircaster air bearing manufacturing there a very few who can truly claim and prove 20 years of history.

here is my proof.....

Pat White Surfing the "FLYLOAD HOVERPLATFORM"

In a Personality mag in October 1990, the prototype platform is demonstrated to reporters in Durban, South Africa.

Marketing without the joys of internet

Here is a clip from the Which Industrial, November 1991 edition, it cost around 3 months salary ! and hours of painstaking artwork - no computer here!

The Jet Transporter.

Published in the business link Magazine in 1991 shows an old Jet in the maintenence bay.

Some pictures of the first

Prototypes built were first floated on hand made aircasters and then as seen here they were fitted with BHC Hoverpads. Later these platforms saw service as demo units fitted with Airfloat Airbearings. the origional was last seen on a ship going to the UK whilst the pallet style one was "borrowed" by the Aero Go agent and never seen again!

M.A.N. Truck Production

the factory needed to turn the chassis on its axis to go back down a parallel line so special Air Platforms were designed to fit under the existing wheeled bogies to lift the chassis and provide omnidirectional movement.

Below this is a range of aircasters that include one of the 18 RaceTrack style aircasters that were used to make the Bridge of Time float for the earthquake sequence.

Today we have Spam Email in 1994 we had postal flyers!

there were thousands of these printed off by Airfloat in Decatur Illinois for Pat White to distribute in South Africa.

A Paper mill is moved in 1995

Pat White is the guy in the white shirt and shorts pushing, always in the thick of things I have been a hands on loyal servant to the cause!

Pat White is the guy in the white shirt and shorts taking a breath whilst the next section is lifted using an Air Jack, a baloon like tool used to lift thousands of pounds in all sorts of applications.
